About my FLHX Street Glide

Started as a stock, brand new Street Glide with 12 miles on it when it got chopped.  5 degrees in the frame, 4  degrees in the trees for a total of 9 degrees more rake.  26" Renegade Wheel ordered show chrome, then powder coated both front and back.  Arnott Air Ride adjustable suspension.  Every body panel including the tank was replaced with the exception of the side panels.  To much other stuff to list, but you can see on the pictures.

Took 3 months to complete, but most of that was waiting on farmed out things like paint and the dreaded "it's on backorder" parts issues.  Hope you like it. Rides great and actually handles better. Seems to have freed up the front end and doesn't feel as bulky and heavy.  I look forward to your comments, good or bad.

Hey Bluewax.  I looked at your bike and your halfway there!!  Looks great!  Like your style!  Doing the frame is a pain and you have to make sure everything is in line and DOES NOT MOVE when you weld it up.  Not something you want a first timer doing.  A friend of mine and I did it.  Strip bike down to frame, Lazer aligner, plumb bobs, strapped to a bike lift very tightly, attention to detail and measure a dozen times!! A lot of work!  There are several reputable places that do it depending on where you are in the country.  I personally would recommend some friends of mine.  www.camtechcustom.com in Summerville SC.

Bars are by Paul Yaffee.  Seat is custom made by local upholstery shop.  Bike rides great. Better actually.  Thats not just my opinion.  Friend of mine wanted to do this to his but waited for me to get done to see how it rode.  He likes it better than his stock rake with a 21" wheel.  He says it freed up the front end and seems to handle better.  I agree.

Triple trees are HHI.  Forks are Arlen Ness Hot Legs, Batwing is Sinister Industries.  Back tire is stock size and rim is Renegade Wheels (Rocklin), ordered show chrome then powder coated.  Thanks for your interest.

Very nice, very nice... I have the the same bike (stock) and getting ready to do something similar. Curious if you could provide fork tree and batwing suppliers? Back tire/wheel specs? You have a sweet ride. Thanks!
