About my FLHT Electra Glide Standard

This project started off life as a 1984 Electra Glide Std and by the time I got my hands on it in 2003 it was really rough.  A simple project of getting it running and back on the road turned into a major undertaking. The result of which was one of the first hot rod baggers to hit the street in 2004.  Original 1984 parts include 80% of the frame and the rear fender. The rear section of the frame behind the backbone was removed and new tubes bent for a lower seat height and wider rear. The remainder of the bike is a mix of more modern H-D and aftermarket parts. It sports a tweaked S&S 111", H-D tranny case with 6spd insert, Kenny Boyce singarm so I could run a 200mm rear tire, Perse frontend, PM controls, brakes & wheels (getting ready to install a 21" front), stretched H-D tank, stingray hide seat and a one-of-a-kind Kemp Kustoms megaphone exhaust.

Since her rebirth in late 2004, she's racked up the miles on multiple trips to Sturgis, Four Corners Rally, ROT Rally, Bikes Blues & BBQ and several small, midwest bike events.
