About my Vulcan 1500 Classic

Couldn't afford a Harley, so I took a bare bones Classic and got as close to one as I can get in this economy. I acquired a mid 60's shovelhead fairing off E-BAY and made a fiberglass inner fairing to give it a glove(gun) compartment. I also found the Harley saddlebags on E-BAY; they were busted up and required a considerable amount of patching, but for the price I got a bargain. Of coarse I had to fabricate mounts and some wide-ass filler panels to get around the rear shocks. That's where the use of the triple tombstones come in; to take your mind off of the width of the filler panels. Throw in a Baron's Big Air Kit and an ignition switch relocation panel shaped to match. I took it all apart and painted it all black this past winter. I wanted to something more unique than just another black bike, but I need a lot more practice behind a paint gun. I hope you like it.

Where can I get the dual bagger exhaust? Vance and Hines says they do not have any for the Vulcan classic 1500. Are you using the Nomad pipes on your Classic?

Great job!  I'm doing somthing similar to my 01 Vulcan 1500.  I'm using harley fillers but I'll probably have to extend them to fill the gap like you did.  I'm using 37 ford teardrop led tail lights instead of tombstones.  I plan to post pics when I'm done.. Like you I'll be painting it myself...
