About my FLHRC Road King Classic

1999 H-D Road King Classic
95" SE
SE Intake
Vance and Hines True Duals

I bought her used in 2005 while on my second of three Iraq deployments. I came home on leave and picked her up in Charleston, SC from Low Country H-D and rode her home.

My goal is to create a complete convertable. I want to have the luxury and tourability of an Ultra, but be able in under 5 minutes to strip it down to a RK Classic. In the future, I'm looking for some new wheel and whitewall tires and fairing lowers that can quick detach in under 60 seconds! I know I'm going to have to fabricate something to make those possible, but it'll be fun getting there from here.

The fairing is a piece I bought on eBay for $400. It was the blank fibreglass. I picked up the marine radio cover from Bass Pro Shops, a radio from WalMart and some 3-way 6x9s from the PX on Fort Knox. The head unit holds a 4GB SDHC card so I never worry about skipping or changing CDs!
