About my VTX1800

I just finished this bike.  The rear bags and fender was made by me and have the same angle and curves so it blends nicely.  The bags are bolted to the fender for a solid fit.  The stereo is this bike has 600 watts and 8 speakers with 6 on the fairing and 2 in the trunk where the amp is located.  There is a false floor to cover the amp and the interior's are flocked in black.  Many machined parts such as skull reservoir covers, master cylinder and reservoir, cool looking nuts, plates, forward control collars, upside down shifting link, rear hub plate, floorboards with red rubbers, etc.  The trunk is special in that it can swivel.  It is mounted on a bar chair swivel that is spring loaded and self returns.  Worked very nice and is very solid.  Removed side covers so that I could polish the parts underneath and chrome some of them as well.  It gives it a old school look.  The bars were changed for more comfort. The fairing is made by Xtreme Revolution as well as the Radiator Shroud and Side Covers.  There is engraving on several parts as well.  I'm very happy with the way it came out!

Bone1, I am glad to see another X on here, I like what you did with yours! Kudos to you for stepping up and sending the pics in as I am reading that there a few metric haters on here specially the one in the december issue named david, after all it's called Hot Bike Baggers and not American or Harley Baggers. I have had my X since 2002 and have owned 5 H-D's prior, I need to say no more. Check out my X in here also and let me know what you think. Scott

Although I think the bags are just a little lower than what I'd do, I like the over all look.  Very clean, not a lot of junk sticking out to distract from the lines.  I like it!
